GET A LIFE
One of the funniest shows in the history of television. Chris Elliot stars as Chris Peterson, a 30 year old paperboy. Because stupid people didn't watch it, it went off the air. Finally, videos are now available.

THE WEDDING SINGER
Adam Sandler's second-best movie, this Tim Herlihy-written laugh fest takes place in 1985 and focuses on a wedding singer (Sandler) who would very much like to get married. And then at the end he marries Drew Barrymore. So it all ends happily ever after.

GOOD BURGER
This spin-off of Nickelodeon's ALL THAT, starring Keenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell, is a pretty funny movie. It can drag at times, but there are quite a few good bits, and the interaction between Keenan and Kel is great. Plus, it co-stars both Abe Vigoda AND the fat guy from HEAD OF THE CLASS (who also co-wrote)! What more could you possibly want in a movie?

THE WIZARD OF SPEED AND TIME
Mike Jittlov's low-budget special effects tour-de-force. Set in the late 1970s, it's the story of a filmmaker (Jittlov, playing himself) producing a sci-fi short for a network television special created to capitalize on the success of STAR WARS. If you haven't seen this movie (and you probably haven't), buy this now.

THE WATERBOY
A classic of modern cinema. Hilarious all the way through. Adam Sandler as Bobby Boucher, Kathy Bates as Mama Boucher, Fairuza Balk as Vicki Vallencourt, and Henry Winkler as Coach Klein all light up the screen. If you don't like this movie, you're probably not a very good person. Deep down inside, I mean.

WAYNE'S WORLD
These two movies suck... NOT! Well, Part II kinda sucks. But it's okay. Better than IT'S PAT: THE MOTION PICTURE, that's for sure. Schwing...NOT! Ah, that never gets old.

STUART SAVES HIS FAMILY
Despite what you might have heard, this movie is really good. It's not laugh out loud funny, but it's actually very touching. Al Franken's great performance, and the well-written screenplay (based on Franken's book), actually does the impossible, and makes an SNL character a real person who you actually care what happens to. Check this out, you'll be suprised.

MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE
This movie is not a He-Man movie. He-Man is portrayed as a brain-dead freak (and doesn't seem to even have the Prince Adam identity), almost the entire movie is set on Earth and not Eternia, every character wears bleak, dark costumes, and there's no Orko, Battle Cat/Cringer, and most of the other characters He-Man fans know and love, in sight. But still, it's called MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE, so I just had to list it. Oh, and Courtney Cox is in it, plus the guy who played Principal Strickland in BTTF, so it's not all bad.

CABIN BOY
Not as good as GET A LIFE, but very funny still. Chris Elliot stars and co-writes this tale of "fancy lad" Nathanial Mayweather, who unwittingly becomes cabin boy of a barnacle-infested boat called The Filthy Whore. Guest-starring David Letterman ("Wanna buy a monkey?") and CONAN O'BRIEN's Andy Richter (as Kenny, the hilarious original cabin boy).

SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE
Superman is my favorite superhero (not counting He-Man, of course), and this movie best shows why. Superman III, however (in which Supes' turns evil, gets drunk, and yells at little kids) , is the best argument against him being anybody's favorite anything.

ANNE OF GREEN GABLES
I haven't seen this movie since I was a kid, but I remember liking it when they showed it in school. Although, it's hard NOT to like a movie when they're showing it to you in school. Take this pick with a grain of salt.

MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000
Set in "the not too distant future, next Sunday A.D.," MST3K is the adventures of a human sent into space by mad scientists, who make him and his 'bots watch the worst cheesy movies they can find. Keen supreme. If you're new to MST3K, I suggest you start with "Manos" or "Pod People." "I Accuse My Parents" is great, too.

THE CARE BEARS MOVIES
Yes, I will admit that as a small child, I enjoyed the feature film adventures of the delightful Care Bears (and let's not forget their wacky half-breed Care Bear Cousins). I carried my Swiftheart stuffed doll to school with pride, and I frequently daydreamed of venturing to the land of Care-A-Lot and becoming an honorary Care Bear. Now that I look back on it, it's amazing I wasn't beat up more frequently. But as amazing as that is, it's just as sad that kids today are growing up without being taught how to care by little bears with hearts in their stomachs.

ROCKY
Sylvester Stallone both wrote and starred in all five ROCKY movies, including the first, which won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 1976. Yet in all the time between the ROCKY movies, he just churned out a bunch of crap. He must have been too busy on the set writing the next movie to notice he was starring in crap film after crap film. Oh well. ROCKY's keen.

THE WIZARD
This pop cultural milestone of a movie stars Fred Savage as the older brother of a mentally-crazy kid (not played by Ben Savage), who is a "Wizard" at playing 1980s Nintendo video games like "Double Dragon 2" and "Rad Racer". Christian Slater co-stars as the older older brother of The Wizard, giving what is quite possibly the best performance of his career after "Hard Rain". His role in the movie consists mainly of playing the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" video game and smirking. This movie is most notable for introducing to the world both the "Power Glove" and "Super Mario Bros. 3". Which were both radical and tubular.

STAR TREK IV: THE VOYAGE HOME
This is the best movie in the STAR TREK film series, most definitely. The original Enterprise crew time-warps to 1987 to save 23rd century Earth from a wacky cylinder-type thing in the sky that wants to talk to humpback whales, which are extinct in Kirk and Spock's time. When will people LEARN?
